What is a Spark?
A short video where someone says:
“God met me here.”
A Spark is a vertical video — usually 1 to 3 minutes — from real people, real words, no production polish required. Just your honest story of how God carried you through a difficult season.
Filmed on your phone. Told in your own voice. Shared to remind someone else they’re not alone.

Why we’re doing this
Someone else needs to hear what you already survived.
Loneliness, anxiety, and quiet despair are at all-time highs — especially among people who won’t walk into a church, but will watch a 1-minute video from a stranger who says, “me too, and God met me there.”
NFUTR, Inc. is building Embr — a mobile app where people in hard seasons can encounter short, honest testimonies from ordinary Christians. Not sermons. Not polished production. Just Sparks. Your story could be one of them.
How it works
Record
Use your phone in vertical (9:16) mode. Speak from the heart for 1–3 minutes. No script needed.
Submit
Fill out a short form, upload your video, and sign the contributor release.
Reviewed privately
Our team reviews every submission. We’ll reach out if your Spark is selected for Embr.
- Vertical video preferred (9:16)
- 1–3 minutes is the sweet spot (up to 5 minutes allowed)
- MP4, MOV, or M4V — up to 500MB
- Speak clearly and authentically
- No copyrighted music or third-party content
- No one under 18 may appear in the video
- You must be 18 or older to submit
You might be wondering…
My story feels small. Does it count?+
Yes. The Sparks that move people most are rarely dramatic — they’re honest. If God met you there, someone else needs to hear it.
I’m not good on camera. Will it be okay?+
It will be more than okay. We’re not looking for polish. We’re looking for realness. Awkward pauses, tears, and imperfect words are welcome.
What if I cry?+
Leave it in. Some of the most powerful Sparks include tears. Just keep going.
Do I need a script?+
No. Most people just hit record and talk about what happened, what they felt, and how God showed up. That’s enough.
Will my video be shown publicly on this website?+
No. This is a private submission portal. Videos are reviewed privately by NFUTR, Inc. and are never displayed here.
Will my video definitely be used in Embr?+
Submission doesn’t guarantee use. NFUTR, Inc. reviews every submission and selects Sparks at its sole discretion.
How long until I hear back?+
We review submissions regularly. If your Spark is selected, we’ll reach out by email. Not every submission gets a personal reply, but every one gets watched.
Can I include music or movie clips?+
No. Submissions must not contain copyrighted music, movie clips, TV clips, or any third-party content you don’t have rights to.
Who can submit?+
Anyone 18 years or older. No one under 18 may appear or be heard in the video.
Is this medical or therapeutic advice?+
No. Sparks are personal testimonies. They are not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.
